Background
Chelsea Adkisson, PE, is a Project Manager and Civil Engineer with Peak Consulting Group with nearly ten years of experience in roadway design, drainage engineering, and transportation infrastructure. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from Colorado State University. Chelsea’s work is grounded in strong technical proficiency, rigorous quality control, and effective coordination with clients, stakeholders, and multidisciplinary teams.
Chelsea has managed and supported transportation and site improvement projects for municipal, state, and federal agencies across Colorado and the western United States. Her technical expertise includes roadway geometry, intersection design, grading, stormwater and drainage analysis, and ADA/accessibility compliance. She is experienced in OpenRoads, InRoads, and Civil3D, with a focus on producing accurate, constructible, and compliant design deliverables.
At Peak, Chelsea has contributed to major initiatives for the City and County of Denver, CDOT, and federal lands agencies. She served as a project manager on the Peña Boulevard improvement project, which received industry recognition for design excellence. Her leadership on this effort included oversight of design development, coordination with agency partners, and management of schedule and deliverables.
